Does the Ultimate Coast to Coast have to be done on a single motorcycle? My friend and I want to do this, but don't want to take our Goldwings from Anchorage to Prudhoe bay. We can rent a bike in Anchorage for that leg of the trip. Is this allowed?

Many a Goldwing and many a Harley have done that trip. Out of curiosity, what's the link to where you could not doe it on two different bikes?

@Rollin has a good write up about his trip. One thing that he did do was to run a no flat snow tire on the rear and a rear tire on the front. This gave him confidence for the gravel road sections.
