The attempt will start from Coogee early hours of Monday 14th October.

It seems all the ducks are lining up with a good shakedown ride to Border Village last weekend which tested the fuel strategy.

A Scarborough Beach rest period is planned to end Wednesday 16th @00.40am WA time.

Thanks for the support guys. I retired at the end of citrus season in 2017, and after having 2018 off work, with Marls not joining me in retirement, I returned to "work" this citrus season. It has been a godsend in the fitness factor. All the ducks are lining up.

My start time is 2am on the East Coast. This will mean I need a start docket at Scarborough before 4am AEDT (or 1am WA time.)

VFR serviced, Wednesday, with new sprockets and chain, and rubber both ends. Ordered new pads in for front as they were getting a bit sad. Spare levers turned up Thursday, and I will carry a spare fuel filter (internal). The bike has 60,000 km now, finally set up, almost ready to go. RooTED will be fitted Tuesday. Probably wander towards the east coast Friday.
