Boldly Big Things

Ride report

Big Bold Things or, Boldly Big Things or Big Boldly Things ….. and as much as I mused over the title, I just couldn’t work out what it should be, so it remains as is.

Some history.
A new position (read permanent promotion) became available at work and after some discussion with various managers, I threw my hat into the ring to see what’d happen. That was just before Christmas. continues here

Really enjoyed reading this, what a great ride theme! Great photos & words to match. (The photo of the three of you in the Ute is priceless!)

Amazing to hear what a difference the bar risers made!!

Fantastic read! I had always been curious as to bar risers in the nt650v but seeing as I am already comfy I havent taken the plunge. On the Versys x 300 however, my goodness what a difference bar risers and lowered footpegs made.

I quite like the sound of a Big things ride :D might have to have a crack someday myself. A certain Koala comes to mind.

Wonderful ride and report Phil. A most entertaining theme. Very sorry to read of that cantankerous back pain. A most unwelcome passenger on any bike trip. For me, shoulder pain is the annoyance, and bar risers definitely seem to help. On the GS off-road course the BMW trainers couldn't wait to get them off. On road however, I really like the way they sit me up that little bit and take the pressure off the shoulders. Best wishes for your future endeavors as you wear out that fantastic bike.
