Dusty Butt CB125F - How small can you go?

As if mentally switching between the H2 to the CB125F in two months time wasn't enough....:)

Awesome job on a very difficult ride Wom. The cattle and roos out there will be talking about you for years to come.

Top ride and well told report. Your partner deserves all the credit for approving your questionable ideas ;)

Those CB125 are great for what they are. Seen a few touring out on the dusty trails.

I know a guy who had an unfortunate experience with his CB125F. His motor started smoking on a trip up from SA to NSW. Apparently burnt one or more of his piston rings. His airbox was full of oil :confused:

I heard those bikes no longer have a starter and instead uses the stator to crank the bike over. Nifty.

The records show:

Robert Munden Windsor, ON CANADA 07/02/08 Honda NS50F 1,604 49cc!
* * * smallest motorcycle to complete the Bun Burner 1500 * * *

and

Micheal Begeman Dale City, CA 07/12/97 Tomos Targa MOPED! 1,020 49cc!

My 50cc Honda Z50 went a maximum of 25 MPH!

I'm aware of these awesome rides. However, they are completely irrelevant to the ride I did as they were not on dirt. Robert's Bun Burner was also a 36 hour ride. He also did some great rides on a 125 including a 50CC but not on dirt.

Impressive indeed, but those are 2 strokes, more bangs per cc.

Does give new meaning to being on the pipe.
