I am a volunteer at the Crossness beam engines in Abby wood South London, we have a first aid course starting later this month, the demographic is mostly pensioners like my self.
The minimum mobility qualifier is you have to be able to get on one knee and get up again unaided as you might have to administer CPR.
It makes sense i suppose but i think someone is taking the piss.
