Link to the IBA Memorial Ride - 2022 for this year.

Our changes to the information contained in the above link:
  • This year’s Memorial Ride window is 21 October thru 6 November. Any IBA rides qualifies for a Memorial Ride and is to be completed during this time period. Mark this on your calendar!!
  • Riders are encouraged to attend a small service at the IBA Australia Memorial Site (Netallie Hill) Saturday 5th November. The service will be in the morning and the start time for the service will be 10am. A number of riders will be staying overnight at Silverton on Friday night.
    • The location of the IBA Memorial Site is here: -31.5695595, 143.2154867 or -31.5695595 South, 143.2154867 East
      Approx 17km West of Wilcannia on the Barrier Hwy.
      Approx 200m West of Netallie Hill Rest Area (park here and entry is via the new gate in the boundary fence)
To assist us in organising the patch, for riders that will be completing an IBA ride during the above period, please add your name to the list below. This will allow for patches to be purchased via the IBA Australia Shop. We will need to close off the list by the end of September.

Skidoo Qty 1. Spending the night at Silverton Friday night prior to attending Wilcannia.

A few riders will be sharing tales and a bottle or two of wine. No doubt the stories will become more colourful with time, all welcome.

Just a reminder that the 'IBA Australia Memorial' is fast approaching.

Been looking forward to this one for a while.

For those interested, a few of us will be staying at Silverton Friday 4 November 2022 and heading to the Memorial site Saturday morning.

Subject to some of the route roads drying out, I'll be at Cobar (Copper City Motel) Friday and Saturday nights. Riding west early Saturday morning and probably have lunch at Wilcannia after the Memorial gathering.

Mixr, the only place to eat in Wilcannia is the bowling club and they open at midday.
The service is at 10am and there will be a small morning tea provided after the service at Netallie Hills rest area.
