Please note that we are updating the guidance notes to reflect the requirement to photograph ALL receipts against the odometer, not just the Start and End receipts.
Whilst this is from immediate effect, rides already completed but yet to be submitted will be subject to the existing requirements.
The new requirements will be enforced for rides completed from 00:01 on 1st January, 2024.

Will this include toll receipts where doing the photograph thing will be...... difficult?

I would not anticipate that a photo of toll receipt AND odo (in the same photo) would be required for safety purposes. A photo of the toll receipt to accompany the other receipt/odo photos would show that the toll road/bridge was used and the route would be calculated accordingly.
