Have we made a decision on the dates for this ride ?. Starting to fill up next years diary already !.( Is the 18th, as in the header, the chosen date or is this from the original ? ) Better over the weekend from my perspective but I will go with the group call.

I think the Jamboree may have buggered an April date for this ride. How about May instead ?. It will be warmer and lighter.
What's everyone's thoughts ?

I have pm'd Phil re suggestion of May 18/19 May . This doesn't clash with any rides or the usual ERT'e.
We can still do Gordons Montecasino ride early May.

Already settled on Saturday 9th March 2024
The package of 5 rides for a Mile Eater Silver will make it a very busy year. We will certainly have enough variety for everyone to find something they like

So definitely Saturday 9th March. I like starting BBG1500 around midnight but feel free to leave Calais anytime you want.

Who is coming along?

I had all intentions of doing this but I’m away for nearly two weeks in Feb and I’m not sure Mrs P would take to the idea…. Sorry..

I plan to come but it will be weather dependent.
Any snow storms forecast and I’m staying home!
Not sure what my optimal start time is but will go with the flow.

Mega busy schedule, so I'm going to play it by ear. If I can't I will do the ride later in the year to honour our old friend.

I'm out I'm afraid. Been asked to help out and teach on both Sat & Sun. Plus, tbh, a bit close to the Morocco trip. Weather doesn't look too bad fro those going, but I might defer my attempt to May or June.
