ANNUAL NATIONAL MEETING and CHRISTMAS PARTY
SATURDAY 19th NOVEMBER 2016
The National meeting and party will again be at the Best Western Windmill Village hotel in Coventry.
(http://www.windmillvillagehotel.co.uk/ ) have use of all the facilities including swimming pool, fully equipped gym and spa. There will be an extra charge for spa treatments but the pool and gym are FOC.
The date was chosen so you can again take in Motorcycle Live (http://www.motorcyclelive.co.uk/) which starts the same weekend at the NEC which is close by on your way home on Sunday. The weekend is an ideal way to introduce wives and partners to the Iron Butt Association with a variety of activities. You can even arrive by car if you so wish. You do not have to be a member to attend.

A morning of workshops and challenges.
Work your way around the tables chatting to the experts and getting information on safe long distance riding
This will include:
A guide to Basecamp the Garmin routing software
Puncture challenge. Use your puncture repair kit to see how fast you can repair and inflate our tyre We will provide batteries to run your compressor if that’s what you use. A prize will be issued to the quickest. Different systems will be demonstrated.
Route planning for Rallies
A showing of Hard Miles 2 the film of the 11 day USA Iron Butt Rally
How to “Farkle” your bike for safe long distance riding.
Make your own silver jewellery with Sonya (especially for wives and partners)

If you haven’t been before do come along. We are a friendly bunch of like-minded souls. It’s the one time of the year when we get to really chat to each other without rushing off on another long ride.
