Found this when browsing Scottish News pages....

Apparently it is reported:

If successful, Mr Ransome could be the first person in the UK to complete a SaddleSore 1000 - a challenge that sees motorcyclists ride 1000 miles in less than 24 hours.

The also seem to miss out the word "safe" in another line of the report regarding the IBA!

Do you think someone should contact them and tell them they may be somewhat erroneous in their statement?

I feel somewhat offended by that utter nonsense in that so called "report" and politely send her my thoughts about that.
I hope I succeeded in educating her a bit.

Not knocking Mr Ransome, assuming he is submitting the ride for IBA verification it's a fine achievement and Macmillan Cancer Support is a very worthwhile cause, we wish him all the best in his efforts. Any news on Mr Ransome successfully completing the challenge?
