We would like to thank Gatey for the following information regarding the mounting of future plaques at our Memorial site.

The purpose of this post is to retain installation continuity at site and provide materials detail for future IBA Australia Management Team members.
Details:
The individual "ridden on riders "plaques are Stainless Steel. 170x70mm ( font to be confirmed). Supplier is Graham Smith 0427 499 063 He's located in Narrabri NSW.

They are Deep laser Etched and baked in Black enamel.
The plates are Drilled, glued and riveted.
Glue is SOUNDAL FIXALL High Tack INVISIBLE 320kg bonding. Hight Tack industrial grade SMX Hybrid Polymer. Mask baking plates before adding bonding agent (critical)
Plates have one rivet each end on Midline at 15mm in from each end.
Rivet drill size #20. Same for main plates marked from the holes in the RORplt.
Rivets are Cotter brand 316 Grade SS 4.8mmdia x 7.9mmgrip. These will need long handle rivet tongs or a cordless tool to install.
I have the 5 items above in hand for future use.

I'm happy to undertake future installations of individual plaques and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

The layout on the main (larger) section is as follows.
Each main section has a small centerpunch mark at the 4 corners forming a datum point vertical and horizontal.
Each plate column starts at left on left vertical datum with 45 mm gap between plates from column 1 to plates column 2. This will allow to fit 4 columns.
The first (top) plate row starts on the top horizontal datum line depicted by top datum line.
Each row below is positioned 10mm below the row above. This will allow 5 rows.
60 ridden on rider plaques fit across the larger parts of the structure.
A further 4 columns of 2 rows fit on the bottom section and 1 row of 4 on each small vertical face
Total 96 evenly spaced plaques.

The intention is to fill in the main Large spaces first at the current pattern. Critical to visual balance and site limitations.
Once that space is filled then ,subject to foreseeable numbers in the future the lower section can begin, (this space will fit 5 columns if need be) and finally the smaller vertical face. So you have 4 columns and 5 rows on each of three main plates.

NOTE: the current 7 ridden on riders plaques are set out in this format and show the way forward.
Both Skidoo (Karl) and I Know the pattern.

This information is provided for the future visible and aesthetic continuity of the site.
