During planning we discussed tyre wear
And Darwin was an option for tyre replacement
But he was assured that the bike would have brand new tyres on pickup

My Victory Cross Country did not like the coarse bitumen road surfaces running hot and heavy but he should have been ok for wear with new tyres.

When I reported Bam’s backtracking, I noticed that he was travelling at around 124kph. This was considerably faster than for most of the day which was around 105kph.

I’ll leave you to speculate!

Bam seems to be stationary short of Larrimah. Maybe Warloch Rest Area.

Been there a while so probably having a break and/or topping up fuel from a collection of containers.

Spot has no battery status. I don't use it, so don't know how it works. Does it shut down when the bike is off? Doesn't matter. I'll look it up.

Bam is running two trackers. SWTracker (likely on an IPhone) and a Garmin. His Garmin does not (appear to) report battery status.

There’s some really bad news about an accident 70kms south of Mataranka I’m afraid. NT Police are reporting a 59 year old has died in a motorcycle accident after running off the road and hitting a tree. Pop NT Police and Emergency Services into Facebook and see their post about it. Note that the are saying they got a call at 4:30pm local.
