Selfie Ride Specificity

Are there limits to how much of your name needs to appear in each city name for the selfie ride?
I'm planning to ride from my home in TX to Jacob, IL then Arnold MO and back home. On that ride I'll do a stretch out of the way on an interstate so I can hopefully make 1500 miles in the 24 hrs.

Could I ride another selfie ride in the future do something like ride through Austiin, Round Rock, and London, or does each component need to be more complete?

It seems like what you propose is to simply pick out the letters you want from pretty random place names. I don't think that is consistent with the spirit of the ride, if not the letter.

More fitting with the spirit of the Selfie ride, (for your second ride), would be something like this:

Jackson, Tennessee to Oberlin, Ohio, then on to Arnold, MD.
