So it was not clear
I was waiting from December for info when application will be opened. My bad I did not ask that question earlier.
I was really interested in joining IRB2019.
Been in Premier for years, 100_ certificate rides, 2 IBR's, supported all the regional events sans Kingsport. Did not help me. People who are not even Mile Eater members or Premier got selected over 20-year supporters of the organisation.I'd suggest becoming a Premier member so you are part of the group notified first when all announcements come out
You'll need to attach some fenders there! Sheesh!
Usually Mid Jan for Premier members and early Feb for everyone else. All that's public now is "southeastern US"When will the start/finish location be announced for the 2019 IBR ?
BigLew:
Yup, I heard about the 2017 IBR SS1K ride ( I was the guy who organized it). I'm hoping to do the same for next year, but of course can't plan or post anything specific until I know where the ride will end. And I also need to talk to Mike, before I go ahead with anything. I'm planning on contacting him after the 1st of the year. In addition to posting the ride on the IBA Event Calendar, I also add a thread on the ADV Riders Forum.
BTW, I'm planning another All Yooperland SS1K on June 22nd next year - >1K miles all done in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Will start & end in Iron Mountain.
How do you sign up for this ride? I did my first SS1000 this past September and I live in Marquette, so I'm interested in doing this one.Hope to see you in Iron Mountain.
Keep your eye on the IBA Event Calendar. After it's posted, you can download, fill out & send me the Rider information Form. Mark June 21st & 22nd on your calendar now !
