Crikey, the Muster is only 3 weeks away? That can't be right.

Years ago I rode around all over the place and was ready at the drop of a hat. The last few years? Not-so-much.

These days I spend more time playing around with my cat. I better do a practice run.

Probably not as long as your planned ride but I went for a little jaunt yesterday myself. Left Bairnsdale at 10 am. up to Omeo, Mt. Hotham, Bright then topped up the Trophy at BP Glenrowan before Yea, Healesville, Woori Yallock, Cockatoo, Packenham then home at 7.30 pm. for a slightly latish dinner. 798 kms. for my trouble. Washed and cleaned the bike in readiness for 11.30 pm. start tomorrow night for the Southern Cross Distance Riders lunch at Mannum SA. Looks like a change of route [was going western Hwy. to Murray Bridge the Mt Pleasant and Mannum 1,014 kms.] but the westerns closed between Ballarat and Ararat because of fires. South looks fine.
