Heya Gatey,
Always good to say g'day mate :) I'm quite partial to the odd hug when I say it too :p

Yes, I know and TJ is awake we have been in discussion.....and the world is good!!

Thank you for the generous offer and if I didn't have to work on the Thursday, I could've probably made it up to you and accepted your offer (albeit I'm still unsure about pulling off another SS1600 after my most recent one). The Wild West of West....I like it!

I've a cunning plan in place, well maybe not so cunning, but a little bit of a plan, so I'll just see how that pans out.

Think I'll have to learn to carry a jerry and fill on the side of the road. I'll have to consult with my engineer to the setup on that one.

Hi mate I too have to work on the Thursday as has almost always been the way when a bigish ride is planned.
Very happy you have something in the works Kimmie.
Mate I have been looking at these MT09 beasties cos they are a bloody smart unit and Ive a couple of ideas for the auxTank factor brewing. My workshop is all folded up these days but the brain still functions and Ive one or two very smart welder men up my sleeve for future reference.
Last weekend I spent some time having a sit down look at a specéd up MT09. C/stand, tail rack and luggage Similar profile to the FJR + fasteners. larger screen, bark busters too. That graffic protective stuff that sticks on to stop you rubbing the guts out of the paint. Second brake light and a nice neat sub-bash plate.
Nice unit.

Oh and nows a good time to knock out a second SS ride girl.
Good luck with your plan and ride mate.

St George to Hebel - watch for Emu, they like that long grass to hide in (buggers)

Hebel to Walgett - watch for the 2 legged Bouncers, they seem to come at you from every direction especially from about 3pm. Had me down to crawling speeds there were that many of them.

Is there a publicly ( members only) list of people who have signed up available so we can see who we will be meeting?
At this early stage of IBA Australia development, those tools are still being developed.

I can assure you that Spanner that we have a large contingent of Long Distance riders attending representing almost all states of Australia.

That is an interesting question Spanner and whilst we are developing the tools to be able to do this, we still need to look at how we may be able to implement this.

Of the IBA riders attending, there is a real good chance that there will be a number of riders that you have not heard of nor read about their escapades. I would encourage everyone to get around as much as you can and soak up this fantastic opportunity to meet and listen to some of the others sharing their stories of "that fantastic ride" and to be able to share yours in such great company.

Please keep checking back on the Muster page to keep up to date with the programme of events.

Unfortunately I have had to withdraw from the muster due to work putting me on a FIFO roster and also the Mrs being due with #2 child not long after that weekend.
Hope everyone has a great time!

Work getting in the way of riding, now that's bad luck but bills have to be paid.

Congratulations on your impending No 2 child Brodes. This is an exiting time and you can't miss it

Brodes, great news to hear of your second child due so close to the Muster. Work, well for most of us that is one of our hazards as LDRiders, there will be other Musters in the future waiting for you to come along to, all the best to your wife and you. Cheers.

I have been waiting for work to be able to confirm my ability to take days off for this,
but I just rang and canceled my Accom Booking and will be unable to attend at all.
I hope you all have a great time.

These things happen to all of us at times Ed, bit of a pain when we enjoy our sport so much.
