SUCCESSIVE PLANNING:

If any member has skills or ideas, come forward.
MEMORIAL SITE:
Have a specialised skill-set in all things metal, Gatey has taken carriage of the memorial rides and the mounting of plaques at the site.
Gatey spoke for a few minutes about the use of Corten (a rusty looking metal that blends into the natural environment) and how it will all come together.
Processes are in place to have plaques mounted and ready for the memorial ride later this year.

PUBLIC RELATIONS:
Many discussions have been made regarding 'getting it out there'. A public relations officer has been discussed on numerous occasions and it is with pleasure I announce Hackle as our PR officer.
The role will encompasses numerous aspects not limited to reminding riders of pending events, mentoring young riders and engaging riders.
20th ANNIVERSARY 50cc RIDE:
Fatman spoke promoting the group 50cc ride from Melbourne to Darwin. This is to celebrate the first Australian 50cc ride completed in 2003.
Checkout the forum for more information and don't forget to register.
Derrick spoke about the the original ride back in 2003, pre GPS heaven forbid! Everyone was engaged in his recount of a ride that has been repeated and grown.
IBR:
We have four riders on three bikes participating in the upcoming rally in America being, Olly, Jeff the Chef, Kiwi Martin and Piglet.
Olly gave an engaging presentation that sparked interest in everyone. He discussed costs associated with the rally that maybe as high as $25,000 or as little as $10,000.
Bikes are reasonably priced stateside however the farkling may cost as much as the purchase price of the bike. To be competitive the bike has to be set up appropriately.
Olly discussed strategies he used to improve his ride fitness including increasing the number of his rides, need to loose weight, weaning himself from coffee and practice taking photos with the rally flag.
Currently Olly's competitive FJR had an electrical issue and panels are still off but it has been rebuilt rectifying the issue.
REFRESHMENT AND SNACK BREAK - the red flowed freely

OX's RECENT 100ccc RIDE:
Ox spoke about his last ride after having rides guessing why he had race tape all over his boots. Apparently they dont make boots like they use too. After countless rides all over and around Australia the soles finely gave up and literally detached themselves from his boots.
