So what's happening at the Parkes Muster. We have an exciting night planned for you.

  1. Presentation of Certificates to successful riders. (smile for the camera)
  2. We have a box of tyre plugs and a wheel with dozens of holes that needs plugging. Set up by Skidoo (Karl) and with the expertise and support from fellow riders, here is an opportunity to try your hand at a tyre repair.
  3. Streak (Graham), will be presenting a session on hydration additives. This session is designed to give us information on hydration and what the industry has to offer.
  4. Cuddles (Shane) will be sharing Annette and his experiences in competing two up, twice, at the Iron Butt Rally in the USA. This will give us a firsthand insight into their joys, trials and tribulations during the “World’s Toughest Motorcycle Competition”.
  5. A 'panel type' forum will be conducted addressing issues requested on the evening, e.g., planning a 50CC, lighting, managing fatigue, submitting IBA documentation - this is your opportunity to ask and get information from fellow riders on almost any subject.
Discussions with potential presenters are still occurring.

Please keep in mind, that if you would prefer to socialise and not participate in some/all activities, full club facilities are available.

Don't forget if you have any great photos you would like to share please send to
[email protected].

Just doing some prep to the bike while there is still time to fix any gremlins I discover before the Muster.

Went to show someone the LED spotties and..... you couldn't see for the darkness!

Loose wire traced and fixed. Cruise re-instated - heated grips need a going over too.

A timely reminder for all of us, thanks Diesel

Oil changed, new front hoop and bike washed and stored for a few weeks while I play on the kelpie.
Might add a new rear a week or two out cos you all know about Murphy and his rules.
I'm so busting to go do this ride I could just run around a tree real fast til I turn to butter just like Tiga.

Unfortunately I will have to miss this ride as I have just been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer and will undergo surgery on 1st of June. I hope to be back on my Beemer in a couple of months and would like to participate in the next Aussie IBA event.
cheers

Looking forward to this, a couple of times I've said to the wife are you sure that you'll be OK while I'm gone? Her answer? FFS you need to get on that bike & have an adventure!
Should be fun after the Muster I'm riding down to Melb to catch up with some mates I've not seen in 20 years then back home to Perth.
Thanks for this TJ189 you've made a mad old bugger madder & happier

Thanks Scarp, this has been a real team effort in putting it together, it is not an individual thing believe me. The biggest part of the team are you guys, without you all attending, it would not happen. We are excited as everyone and are looking forward to catching up.
