Island Parkes for me............................ a run South to find some colder weather ,wind, rain and probably fog seems fitting for the first ever muster.
Shiver in the swag for a while on Phillip Island before heading North to Narrandera and Parkes for a BB2500K.

It's been a while still looking for gear and trying to get everything working.....can't wait.

Great to see the different plans and strategies being implemented by riders.

Unfortunately we are all in for a long, wet and cool winter. A few riders have said this will allow them to test new gear/configuration for other rides.

'Insanity', that's what it's all about, we're been there a few times before :D

Nic, it's fantastic that such a young person will be part of the fantastic roll up at Parkes.

Crappy, looks like your doing some hard core training! Swagging it on the island, thumbs up, interested in swagging it in the snow a little later in the month, give me a call.

Me; I'm an optermist, we are going to have fantastic weather. Just in case I'm off riding in the snow next week and yes I've been told before, 'your nuts, that's insane'!

Its all done. Even the new bit of paperworks done too TJ.
Now I need a box to put this stuff in oh and an hour to put my personal files back in order and have a weeee nap too.

Turned cold here after months of sweet warm days. Put he liner back in my jacket and bought some new thermals. I might even test the heated grips to see if they do work.

Not attending now and have cancelled out.

This was due to the fact I didn't wish to supply private information (over the internet and the legality of same) to undertake the ride.

If I knew of this earlier I wouldn't have pre-purchase merchandise and wasted money/time and effort with the whole process.
Have fun if you are going

I am sorry you have chosen to not attend Dave, I was looking forward to catching up with you. I understand your concerns and offered an alternative which when I get home will be posted up in a new thread regarding Waivers. You chose to not accept that either and that is totally acceptable and I respect your choice. As to the late notice, yes a mistake on my part, however again allowed time, will include what happened in that post tonight.

I would ask others to allow me the time to get home from work and offer an explanation for this issue.

TJ may wish to re-read your email conversations with me last night regarding the Stat. Dec options.

This is why I did not talk to you last night via phone, as I wanted our discussion recorded by emails, for times like this.

TJ this is your quote from last night emails 9.33pm:-

Dave,
Just a thought, would it be better to get riders to have the documents sighted by a JP and a declaration stating that they are up to date?

I read your words as an open statement, being for all attending Parkes, not one directed at me personally.

So, I didn't fail to mention your offer cause there was no offer directed at me.

I agree with the Stat Dec if required, but why do we need to do this anyway.

This is not a personal attack as I stated to you last night, but hopefully this may help sort out issue's prior to the next Muster.

TJ I am flumoxed by the requirement to use www.maps.google.com. for email of Ride Documentation before 18 June.

I can email digital files in gpx. itn, or trf formats at least, or attach a screen print of google map as follows:

I can also provide a spot walla link prior to the ride as well for verification.

I can't seem to find how to email a digital copy of the google map.

Please Help
